Senior Pastor Pat Tuggle

Pastor Pat Tuggle was born and raised in North Birmingham, Alabama. She and her husband, Charles
have lived in Moody, Alabama since 1972. They have two sons, Craig and Jason
, one grandson,
Kenzie
, and a granddaughter, Alivia.

The church was founded as Leeds Revival Center in 1986 by Pat's Aunt, Ruth Matteo and Pat's mother,
Maudelle Akers. Pat served as a Bible teacher in the church from 1986-1994. In 1994 Pat became the
Associate Pastor. A short time after becoming Associate Pastor, she was asked to assume leadership of
the church and take the role as Pastor on an interim basis for six weeks. Those six weeks have turned
in to many years of dedicated service to God.

Pat is very active in all programs at CFC. Her mother always dreamed Pat would become a musician in
the church. Thus, along with her other duties she plays piano, organ, and keyboard for the church
Praise Team. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board for Resurrection Faith
Ministries, Inc. This ministry serves abused women and children in Iquitos, Peru.

Pat had a vision for growth of the church and for a new location. In 2009, a building became available in
Moody that presented a great opportunity for the church. The church moved to Moody and was
renamed Covenant Faith Church.
